The next milestone was accomplished as part of a long-term contract between Motor Sich JSC and PCF STORK Ltd for the development, manufacture, supply and testing the EFIS (Electronic Flight Instrument System) helicopter modification.

The companies' experts completed the final technical adjustments of the previously installed set of PCF STORK Ltd EFIS and new avionics on the Mi-8MSB helicopter at the final assembly line manufactory.

During joint work, the correct interaction of the new EFIS solution with the helicopter systems has been verified. Both teams evaluated ergonomic assessment of the new cockpit panels, mounting places for new equipment and multifunction indicators. All the issues faced the joint technical solutions.

The helicopter is already prepared for transferring to the flight test site and shall start ground and flight certification tests evaluations.

The completion of the joint work on the cockpit modification allow us to offer our customers a Helicopter with new economically attractive technical specifications. The modern equipment solution meets existing ICAO and State Aviation Administration requirements.

On the basis of the Mi-8MSB helicopter with EFIS upgrade, it is planned to develop a number of modifications for various purposes in both civil and state aviation.
